Hello my dearest pixies and cloudwalkers! I feel the urge to apologize for delaying the translation of the previous article, that was posted in Greek originally. Many have contacted me from abroad, asking to translate it. The everyday routine and its' problems is the main reason that is to be blamed for this delay. Anyway, I hope everyone's more than ok and happy.
I'm so pleased to host and introduce the work of a young person, so talented and spirited such as Dimitra Panariti. I'm always willing to do so, in order to give more opportunities to their work. Dimitra is a very talented young woman who contributes the utmost to the art side of this universe (I think in many dimensions as well).
I won't add more sauce to it.. you will know her and her work through the word of Yiannis Mousoulis! Enjoy!!!

My name is Katherine
We’re dealing with a very unique book here, as it constitutes the concept novelization of metal band Meden Agan's same titled, newly released album. Katherine spends the sensitive stage of her childhood between the misery of a German occupied Greece and the sick toxicity of a horrible, violent family. Her body and soul full of wounds. Wounds that, even when they heal, they always leave scars.
The 1950s… As a post war Greece still lay in ruins left by the war, Katherine is now a young woman haunted by the demons of her past. Her whole life a constant performance, a dark acting, an alternation of different facades. When she meets Jonathan he is charmed by her frail beauty and he wants to stay by her side.
But katherine has never known love, never known affection. Only violence and oppression. Her sole, true companion a, hidden within her, beast. A dark monster, born and raised by her past, haunting her present. She knows that, once released, there’s no turning back. As she stares at her dark demons the demons stare back and the beast is unleashed from within with lethal repercussions.
Written in the form of a personal diary, Dimitra Panariti’s book constitutes, not only a dark narrative and a perfect horror story, but also a literary recounting of her band’s new album’s concept. With a readability that lacks nothing in comparison to experienced, acclaimed authors, combined with a poetic narration drawn by her familiarity with the art of expressing herself through lyrics and songs, the author carries us through the dark paths of a disturbed mentality, reminding us that the most frightful and almost invincible beast is the one hidden within us.
About the author
Dimitra Panariti was born in a far away planet where art and aesthetic quality are the laws of nature. At the age of 3 she came to Earth and took her first steps in ballet and at the age of 6 she started competing in rhythmic gymnastics. At the age of 8 she started chorus and classical guitar lessons. 12 years old she joined the music high school of Pireaus where she got involved in a wide variety of music. She studied piano, tambouras, byzantine music and hymnology and around the same period she was awarded with 1st prize in artistic singing, 2nd prize in traditional singing and 1st prize in classical singing in various competitions with lots of entries from all around Greece. She also studied monody for one year with the famous John Modinos. At the age of 14 she received a scholarship to attend a proprietary music conservatory where she got involved in music even more seriously. There, she studied melodramatic monody in classical and artistic singing, classical guitar, cello, solfege, European chorus and mandatory piano.
Since 2016, she is the singer and lyricist for the Metal band Meden Agan and to this day, she is constantly studying and perfecting techniques for a harder, more extreme kind of vocals.
